There is a nice picnic area with some tables right near the parking area. After lunch there are a number of choices for hiking (Bluff views or water views). No swimming is allowed. It should take about 40 minutes from the church.You may want to bring lawn chairs and you will definitely want to bring water bottles for hydration when walking. Shaloy says to remind everyone "No Swimming Allowed"

Driving Directions: Take whatever route you would take to get to Rock City. As you're approaching Rock City you whould be on Och's Highway also known as GA 157 aka Red Riding Hood. Don't make the last left hand turn into Rock City but instead proceed on Red Riding hood until it dead ends @ Lula Lake Rd. Turn left and proceed a bit over 2 miles to the entrance on the left. Two notes: You'll come to the exit first about 1/2 mile before the entrance and teh sign to the entrance is small and easily missed. Turn left and proceed 1/3 mile to the parking area. The picnic tables are right there @ the parking area.
